10/2003 The amazing Ibot wheelchair by the creative mind of Dean Kamen and his DEKA research team is now on the market. We have worked closely with DEKA, Johnson & Johnson's Independence Technology and Sanmina-SCI during the prototype phases and are very excited to see it in full production. American Precision Products supplies critical plated plastics for this project including the housing for the joy stick/arm rest. Hats off to the team that brought this project to market! |
