Why American Precision Products is the Right Choice
Hand Held Probe
Since 1972, American Precision Products has been molding thermoplastic and thermoset materials, including glass-filled and engineering grades. We are experienced in both short and long runs for commercial and government applications. Experience, in-house design, tooling and state-of-the-art production facilities help us provide a 360 degree view of the project.
In House Design
If time to market is an issue, this should be a a critical consideration in
your selection process.
Consult with our
in-house design staff
to evaluate your design and material needs. In addition to reducing the
time to produce a new part, minor changes in a mold
design can dramatically reduce tooling costs, improve part yield, and
speed production cycles.
Tooling
The biggest single cost in setting up any production run is tooling cost. In
addition to our in-house 3D CAD/CAM, CNC mill and lathe capabilities, we
have partnerships with US and Asian machine shops that excel at producing
specific types of molds. By using mold suppliers that specialize, we are
able to source higher quality molds with less lead time and fewer
problems with materials.
Quality and Service
Our goal in customer service is to provide
parts in accordance with the individual customer requirements to insure quality,
quantity and schedule.Our quality
control system meets ISO9001:2000, employs statistical control, and assures
excellent close-tolerance parts for every project.
